Inquiry routing manual
How Your Inquiry Finds the Right Desk
A submitted question is only useful if it lands with someone who can answer it. This page explains what the topic selection on the form does, how sales, support, and general questions are separated, and why one small choice saves a day of forwarding.

Before routing
Why routing exists at all
Without some sorting, every message arrives in the same place and someone reads each one just to figure out who should handle it. That works when there are three inquiries a week. It falls apart at any real volume. Routing moves that judgment to the moment you submit, using a choice you make in seconds. The result is fewer misdirected messages, and a reply that comes from the right person instead of a general inbox that has to ask around first.
The practical effect is smaller than the theory suggests. One extra tap at the top of the form replaces a chain of internal forwarding you never see, and the answer comes back with the context already attached.
The three destinations
Every submitted question lands in one of three places. The list is short on purpose, and each row below shows what belongs there and how it is read.
Questions about working with Dysmeron Digital, scope, timelines, and anything that starts a conversation about a project.
Problems with something already in progress or already delivered, where the reader needs the existing context before answering.
Everything else: a request for information, a question about the site itself, or a message that does not clearly fit the first two. If you are unsure, general is the honest answer and it will be redirected if needed.
Form field
Phone number for callbacks
Appears only when you ask to be called back, because a phone field nobody asked for is one more reason to abandon the form.
Form field
Topic detail fields
Fields that apply to one topic stay folded away for the other two, so the visible worksheet stays short while the receiving desk still gets what it needs.

Why the choice is simple on purpose
Routing works when the options are obvious. Ten categories with overlapping labels force you to guess, and guessing produces the exact misdirection the system was meant to prevent. Here the choice is a single question with three plain answers, and no category requires inside knowledge of how the team is organized.
A short list read once beats a long list read twice. If the categories ever stop matching how questions actually arrive, the list changes rather than growing a fourth and fifth option nobody uses. That is the whole maintenance policy, and it is the reason the topic field has stayed a three-way choice.
What happens when a message is misfiled
Sometimes a question looks like support but is really a sales conversation, or the other way around. When that happens, the person who received it forwards it to the right desk and tells you, rather than bouncing it back to the form. Your reply may come from a different name than you expected, and that is normal. You do not need to resubmit anything. The topic selection helps, but it is not a lock, and a wrong pick costs one forwarding step.
Routing without losing the human part
Routing is a sorting step, not an auto-response system. A person reads the message, and a person writes back. Nothing here claims to triage with software that decides what you meant. The topic you pick simply puts the message in a smaller pile where the reader already knows the context. That is the entire mechanism. If you take one thing from this page, it is that the three-way choice near the top of the form is doing real work and takes less time than reading this paragraph.
Keeping the process honest
If a change to the routing ever slows down replies instead of speeding them up, it should be reverted. The measure that matters is whether your message reached someone who could act on it without a round of forwarding. That is checkable, and it is the standard the team holds itself to. Comments and questions about the process itself go to the general category, where they are read like any other message.
When to skip the form and call
Routing only applies to submitted questions. If your matter is time-sensitive, if you need an answer today, or if the question is easier to ask out loud than to type, the phone number is on every contact page and it bypasses the queue entirely.
A call also helps when you genuinely cannot tell which topic fits, since the person answering can decide. The form is the right tool for detailed questions that can wait until the next business day. It is the wrong tool for a deadline.
Questions about the topic field
What if I pick the wrong topic?
Nothing breaks. The message gets forwarded to the right desk and you are told who is replying. You do not need to resubmit.
Do I have to choose a topic?
Yes, it is one of the required fields. General questions is a valid answer if your message does not clearly fit sales or support.
Does routing use automated software to read my message?
No. The topic selection sorts the message into a smaller pile. A person then reads it and replies.
Why not just send everything to one inbox?
One inbox means someone reads every message just to route it, which slows down reply time. The topic selection moves that step to submission.
Conditional fields and when they appear
The form does not show every possible field to every visitor. A callback request only makes sense if you want a call, so the phone field is tied to that. Detail fields that apply to one topic stay out of the way for the others. The point is to keep the visible form short while still collecting what the receiving person needs. Fewer visible fields means faster completion, and faster completion means fewer abandoned forms.

Send the question, or ask it out loud
The topic selection takes seconds. The reply comes from the person who can act on it. If your question is time-sensitive, the phone line is the faster route — Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
