Definitions

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They can be used to keep a site working properly during a visit, to remember preferences, or to measure how the site is used in aggregate. Similar technologies, such as local storage, serve comparable purposes and are covered by this policy in the same way.

A cookie does not read your files, your email, or anything else on your machine. It carries a small piece of session information that the site itself can read back, and your browser decides whether to keep it. That is the whole mechanism — which is also why most of what a browser asks you to accept can be turned off without losing access to the pages that matter.

Why these cookies exist

Functional cookies help the contact form and site navigation behave predictably during your visit. Aggregate measurement helps us understand which pages are used and whether the contact pages work as intended. This information is used to keep the site functional and to make practical improvements, not to build advertising profiles or to sell data to third parties.

Two practical consequences follow. First, an inquiry you start and then return to is not lost to a page reload or a mistyped field. Second, if a contact page is confusing, the aggregate numbers tell us where to rewrite it — before anyone has to complain.

Cookies we use

Two families only. Both are listed here in plain language, and neither is used to identify you by name.

Functional cookies

Session · site operation

These support normal operation of the pages, such as preserving information entered into a form during a session. They keep navigation and the contact form behaving the same way from the first page to the last, and they expire when their job is done.

Analytics cookies

Aggregate · site usage

Where used, these collect aggregate information about visits and page activity and are not intended to identify individual visitors. The reports we read show which pages are reached and where visitors stop, not who they are.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block cookies entirely or to be prompted each time a cookie is set, and they provide ways to review and remove cookies already stored. If you disable cookies, some site features may not work as expected, though the main contact pages remain usable.

  1. Step 1 Open your browser's settings and find the privacy or content section. Every mainstream browser keeps cookie controls there, usually one level below the general settings list.
  2. Step 2 Decide how you want to be asked: block all cookies, allow them only from the sites you visit, or keep the prompt that asks each time a site tries to set one.
  3. Step 3 Clear anything already stored. This resets saved preferences on sites you have used before, so the next visit starts from the settings you just chose.
  4. Step 4 Check the contact pages once afterwards. If the form still loads and submits, the site remains fully usable for you with cookies blocked.

Third-party cookies

If the site uses third-party services, such as hosting, analytics, or email delivery providers, those providers may set their own cookies or process technical information. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies.

We do not authorize third parties to use cookies set through this site for their own marketing purposes. Where a provider sets something for its own service operation — keeping a delivery secure, for example — it stays within that job.

Retention and updates

Cookies persist only for as long as needed for their function. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; others may remain for a limited period. This policy may be updated if the cookies used on the site change, and the current version applies from its effective date.

When this page changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Earlier wording is not kept on the site, so the date on this page is always the version in force.
